Правила доменов .VG
The .vg is the assigned official country code top level domain for the British Virgin Islands. Any entity associated with the British Virgin Islands is eligible to register for a domain under .vg code.
AdamsNames, the Internet Names Organization, has gained the right to manage and allocate domain names under the .vg extension. A local residence is not mandatory to obtain a domain name within the island and it is possible to record multiple domains at a time.
All applicants submitting requests to the registrar are obliged to follow a series of rules and regulations set by the registry. The application request is to be sent by e-mail in the template format provided by the domain name registry.
Both long-term form and short-term forms are available at the web site. While the short term form is primarily designed for individuals, the long term form is designed for corporations. However, it is not necessary that you should be an individual to use the short form, nor a corporate customer to use the long form. After the acceptance of valid applications, the registrants will be issued a password for future logins and communication with the company.
Domain names that violate the copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights of third parties are not accepted. Names that are identical or confusingly similar to a domain name already registered are also not permitted. The .vg names can contain letters, numbers, or the hyphen symbol. However, domain names beginning or ending with the hyphen symbol are not accepted.
The registration agreement can be terminated at any time by the registrant with 28 days notice, but fees will not be refunded. If the registry fails to receive the termination notice, the agreement will be renewed at the end of the first year. The registry can also terminate or cancel the domain name if it finds that the terms of the registration agreement have been broken by the applicant. |
